Founding member, Ryan Elwell, started his video/film career back in high school. He worked on a small TV program where he learned that video was the career for him. After high school, Ryan took a year of film classes at the Art Institute of Portland where he worked on several short films. (https://www.youtube.com/user/AlpineFilmz).
Since then he has worked on many projects including promotional projects, commercials for local businesses, and many wedding videos. Ryan loves living in the Pacific Northwest and getting to travel for videos. He prides himself on making high quality and budget friendly wedding videos.
Mikaela joined Cascade Video Productions in 2021 a year after her and Ryan started dating. She has learned most of her video knowledge from Ryan, but is a quick and skillful learner. Mikaela primarily shoots photos for our team, but helps create content for our social media platforms as well. She grew up in Washington State and has always enjoyed the Pacific Northwest. Her and Ryan met through TikTok during COVID when she was looking for local photographers to teach her how to skillfully use her new camera. They started dating two months later and are now engaged, looking forward to their wedding in May 2024.
